How to Navigate the Sidebar

The sidebar is your primary tool for navigating everything in Shortimize. Here’s a quick tour of what each section does, from top to bottom.

1. Workspace Switcher Located at the very top, this area shows your current organization. While you start with one, you can click here to add or switch between different workspaces.

2. Overview This is your default homepage. It provides a visual dashboard, giving you a high-level look at all the data you're tracking in Shortimize.

3. All Videos Click here to see a table of every video you are currently tracking within your selected organization.

4. All Accounts This section displays all the social media accounts you're monitoring in a table. Tracking an account automatically includes its videos, so "All Accounts" and "All Videos" offer different ways to view the same core data.

5. Explore Accounts Curious about an account but not ready to track it fully? Use Explore to get a quick analysis and see key metrics without using up your tracking storage.

6. Collections Think of these as folders for your content. Collections let you group specific accounts or videos together, helping you stay organized. You'll find a "Default Collection" ready for you when you start.

7. Usage Meter This progress bar near the bottom shows how much of your video tracking storage you're using. For example, the Launch plan includes 1,000 videos, while the Scale plan includes 5,000. Click the usage meter to manage your storage and usage

8. Settings & Support At the very bottom, you'll find buttons for:

  • Settings: Configure your account.

  • Help Center: Get assistance and find answers.

  • Invite Teammate: Add colleagues to your workspace.

  • Minimize Sidebar: Lets you make the sidebar smaller or bigger
